At the Friendship Fire Station in Winchester, Chief Frank and his crew—Andy, Billy, Camilly, Latisha, and José—are enjoying breakfast when the fire alarm sends them racing to a nearby house fire. After extinguishing the blaze, the firefighters search the home and discover not a trapped person, but a frightened little dog covered in soot. The pup has no family, so the crew takes him to the vet, who declares him healthy. That evening, gathered back at the station, the firefighters gave him a new name—Friendly—and a new forever home among their team.
